Aintree Ladies Day 2025

Ladies day at the Randox Grand National festival takes place on Friday 4th April 2025 which is the second day of the 3 day festival. Combining high fashion with high quality racing it is the ultimate fashion day on both the social and the racing calendar and you won’t have been disappointed if it’s the hats you came for with a variety of must-see items on show once again.

During ladies day there are 7 races throughout the day the most notable of which were the Melling Chase (Grade 1) and the Topham Handicap Chase. All the top trainers, horses and jockey were on show at this prestigious event which is celebrated not just on the track but also on the terraces as people dress up for the occasion, in fact there are ‘style awards’ associated with the festival as best dressed and other titles go to a winner. As an example River Island were the sponsor of the 2025 Ladies Day thus highlighting that class isn’t far from play. It’s rare but it was nice for once to be surprised by the fantastic weather conditions on ladies day in 2025, which enhanced the day greatly.

So 45,000 people gathered for an extremely vibrant and energetic ladies day in 2025. Whilst it isn’t a cheap day out, with high price hospitality packages, some well-known faces still turned up because ladies day has gained the reputation of being a premier racing and social event and is widely publicized.
